Starting April 8, 2017 1PM!

The Skookum Atlatl Group

This spring a new and different group will be forming at Skookum Archers (11209 Shaw Road East, Puyallup, WA.), a group dedicated to art of the Atlatl.  For those of you who don’t know exactly what that is, let me give you a brief run down.  The Atlatl is the immediate predecessor of the bow and arrow, it dates to about 30,000 B.C. and was used to hunt anything from squirrels to woolly mammoths.  So if you’re a seasoned thrower, just getting started or just a bit curious (we will have atlatl sets and instruction available for you to try) come on out and join us.   The group will be open to both members of Skookum Archers and non-members (non-members pay the standard range fee).  The fun begins on Saturday April 8, 2017 at 1 PM, see you there!!
