Late last week or during the weekend someone shot the nice buck we had on the property. It was found on Sunday near A8. We have contacted the authorities, filed a report and secured some evidence.

We are frustrated that as a Club and a Board, that we do so much work to have this facility open to the public but then one or a few ruin it for everyone else. Short of closing the property to the public, we have posted trail cams around the courses and are looking at other options.

If anyone has any information about this latest incident please contact me at president@skookumarchers.com.

For anyone who would like to try shooting a bow we have an introduction to archery class held every Thursday evening. This program is for people who would like to try out archery without having to buy equipment. We have Genesis compound bows and recurve bows to try out. We emphasize safety, safety, fun, and safety. The cost is $5.00 which helps to cover the cost of maintaining the equipment and use of the members range.
